Renovation to Single Family Home
The project re-envisioned an existing simple workman’s cottage on a spectacular site on the banks of the Hudson River in an Arts & Crafts style. The footprint reimained the same while thesecond floor was enlarged and devoted to a master bedroom suite. Details such as the roof sweeps and the circular and semicircular windows give the house’s exterior and romantic sensibility. The house’s main floor is devoted to an open room encompassing living, dining and kitchen fuctions as well as an enclosed home office, while the lower level is reserved for guests.
